About
So, a little information about me:
I moved to Leeds from Macclesfield to study ‘Creative Music and Sound Technology’ BSc degree at Leeds Met. I graduated in 2008 and am now getting involved with a number of things including:
FriiSpray Virtual graffiti and other creative technology at The Jam Jar Collective.
Working in partnership with York’s Pilot Theatre on the 4 year Platform 11+ European Theatre project.
Working with technology and music to teach and inspire children in primary, high school and special school environments.
Producing music with Burning Studios.
I attend a variety of web, technology and art events around the UK and have presented work at a number of conferences including Ignite UK North and Thinking Digital University.
I spend my spare time tinkering with electronic things, music and computers. I tweet a fair bit and am currently researching into open source technology and how it can help businesses in today’s turbulent IT market.
I have a space at the nti’s Old Broadcasting House co-working space and am also an artist in residence at Temple Works. If I’m not out and about at events, workshops or conferences I can usually be found at either of these places.
